Position Overview:
A Fleet Jobs Inventory Control Specialist is tasked with overseeing stock management, executing administrative duties within the workshop, and streamlining daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the inventory of tires and components for designated locations
  • Handle all procurement activities (excluding office supplies)
  • Manage warranty part orders and returns
  • Process and oversee receipts, payables, and supplier invoices
  • Evaluate vendor performance to ensure timely repairs and billing
  • Respond to phone inquiries from customers and suppliers
  • Schedule preventative maintenance services with clients
  • Accurately enter work requests into the management system
  • Assist with maintenance of the facility
  • Undertake additional projects and tasks as directed by management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in general office administration
  • Preferred 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Preferred 1 year of experience in inventory management
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with AS400 is preferred
  • Ability to work independently, with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this role
  • Willingness to travel as needed and complete all required employment processes
