Job Summary

Sound is seeking a Resident Support Staff member to join our team. As a key member of our overnight facility monitoring team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular safety and security checks of entries, households, and common areas.
  • Monitor guest visiting in the common areas and provide assistance as needed.
  • Provide telephone assistance to residents in case of emergencies.
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Handle consumer information and clinic activities in a confidential manner.
  • Keep supervisors informed of daily activities and potential problems.
  • Follow agency safety procedures and adhere to policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in human services or with special needs population preferred.
  • Strong commitment to working with individuals with mental illness or personal case needs.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
