Metrics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Operations Security and Preparedness (OSP). This on-site position is based in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the organization through changes related to business process modernization, ensuring seamless transitions and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement change management plans to support the VA's business process modernization initiatives.
- Conduct change impact assessments, identify areas of resistance, and develop strategies to address challenges.
- Collaborate with VA stakeholders to facilitate business process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead the development of communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and training programs to support organizational changes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives, adjusting strategies based on feedback and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Emergency Management Operations and Preparedness.
- Knowledge of Security and Law Enforcement.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and align them with organizational objectives.
- Strong analytical skills with experience conducting gap analyses, performance assessments, and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale change initiatives within government or similarly complex organizations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop clear messaging and communication plans for diverse audiences.
- Experience in training and coaching individuals and teams through change processes.
