Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of power electronics to support innovative product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Design and implement various power conversion circuits including DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC systems.
  • Oversee the integration and testing of power electronics modules and systems.
  • Engage with external partners to enhance product development.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in power electronics design and development.
  • Expertise in architecting high-power systems for photovoltaic applications, electric vehicle chargers, and energy storage solutions.
  • Proficient in designing advanced soft-switching technologies across a range of power levels.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of product design processes including modeling, component selection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with various power topologies and simulation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment and circuit analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in power electronics.
  • Experience in developing renewable energy products.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC testing and certification processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with mechanical and software engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards related to renewable energy.
