About the Opportunity
Job Summary
- As a key member of the Khoury College team, the Assistant Director, Leadership Giving will play a critical role in advancing the college's development program.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to cultivate and solicit donations from potential donors at varying levels, with a focus on securing major gifts for the college.
- Collaborate with University Advancement and other staff to identify and steward donors, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
- Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects at the leadership level, providing exceptional service and support to advance their philanthropic goals.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a development-related role, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree required, with a focus on business, communications, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce or other donor management systems.
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices, with a focus on major gifts and leadership giving.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
