Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team at OLE' Mexican Foods. As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR department in various personnel-related administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Employee Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records, both in electronic and physical formats.
  • Update HR Databases: Maintain and update HR databases, including new hires, separations, vacation, and sick leaves.
  • Assist in Payroll Preparation: Provide relevant data, such as absences, bonuses, and leaves, to support payroll preparation.
  • Prepare HR Documents: Prepare and maintain paperwork for HR policies and procedures.
  • Process Employee Requests: Respond to and process employee requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate HR Projects: Assist in coordinating HR projects, meetings, and training seminars.
  • Collaborate with Recruiter: Work with the Recruiter to post job ads and process incoming resumes.
  • Manage Telephone Center: Manage the department's telephone center and respond to inquiries.
  • Prepare Reports and Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications.
  • Provide New Employee Orientations: Provide orientations for new employees, including onboarding packages and company policies.
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Administrative Assistant.
  • HR Software Experience: Hands-on experience with HR software, such as HRIS or HRMS.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Labor Legislation: Familiarity with labor legislation in California.
  • Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Teamwork Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a relevant field.
