Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at Health Images in Denver, CO. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and facilitating the needs of our physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to all patients and providers
  • Check scheduled patients in/out and ensure proper documentation is received from patients
  • Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductible if necessary
  • Listen and resolve patient, provider, and customer complaints
  • Ensure accurate data entry for patient registration
  • Assist with medical records as needed
  • Manage eRIS Center workflow, including daily schedule, billing complete, priors grid, delinquent exams, waitlist, report delivery queues, and collection of TOS
  • Stay abreast of known carrier related issues and identify carrier specific concerns
  • Monitor schedule and ensure all data, attachments, history, etc. have been done before exam is completed
  • Facilitate no-show appointments and reschedule/cancel appointments as needed
  • Monitor waiting room to avoid extended wait time and assist patients as needed
  • Request orders and process new/same-day requests
  • Request patients to complete a satisfaction survey after their exam
Requirements
  • One plus year of experience providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
