Job Summary

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join its multidisciplinary team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning

Establish speech and language treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools, and consult closely with multidisciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.

Therapy Sessions

Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate, to help children develop receptive and expressive language skills.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with patients, families, and team members to understand their values, interests, and goals, and provide education on home programs that complement treatment.

Requirements
  • Education and Licensure

Possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the state of California.

Clinical Skills and Experience

Have excellent clinical skills and experience working with children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Software and Systems

Be skilled at using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.

Knowledge and Certifications

Have knowledge of HIPAA regulations and certifications in areas such as autism and developmental disabilities.
