About the Role

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Establish speech and language treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools, and develop collaborative treatment plans with our multi-disciplinary team.
  • Individualized Therapy: Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate, to help children develop receptive and expressive language skills.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with children, families, and team members to understand their values, interests, and goals, and provide education on home programs that complement treatment.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the development of programs that consider all aspects of the child, inclusive of sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Possess a master's degree and be licensed to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the state of California.
  • Clinical Skills: Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and a passion for working with children.
  • Software and Systems: Be skilled at using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Have knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience working in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting.
