About the Role

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join its dynamic team. As a Clinical Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive speech and language services to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans through dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement treatment plans and strategies.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
  • Develop and implement play-based and goal-based interventions to promote receptive and expressive language skills, considering individual sensory processing, regulation, and motor differences.
  • Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals.
  • Implement strategies and support to enhance communication experiences across settings.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to understand their values, interests, and goals.
  • Contribute to program development and implementation.
  • Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathology Required Professional Experience (RPE) temporary license in the state of California.
  • Excellent clinical skills and experience working with children.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary clinical setting and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility and openness to learning and growth.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality.
