Job Overview

Position Summary: Responsible for delivering and serving meals at designated events under the guidance of the catering supervisor. Ensures that all activities during the shift are executed accurately and efficiently. May operate a catering delivery vehicle. Prepares and serves at events; maintains cleanliness of the event space during and after functions; dismantles setups and ensures the area is left tidy; returns any leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivers all food and supplies for catered events to their assigned locations.
  • Records and monitors food temperatures.
  • Sets up tables and decorations as per event requirements.
  • Prepares buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items in accordance with established standards.
  • Serves food and drinks to attendees.
  • Conducts thorough cleaning of the venue after the event concludes.
  • Returns food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
  • Collects and distributes customer feedback forms for catered events.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the catering facility and its equipment.
  • Ensures that guests receive prompt and courteous service at all times.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the complete menu and available products.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adheres to safety and sanitation policies and procedures consistently.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • A valid driver's license may be necessary; must have or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit as required by state regulations.
