Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient check-in and check-out functions, including scheduling and registration
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely and accurate processing of patient information
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with patients, physicians, and staff
  • Assist with front-end revenue cycle duties, including charge entry and insurance verification
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and databases
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, with a focus on quality and patient safety
