Job Summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a highly skilled Senior Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient check-in and check-out functions, including scheduling and registration
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely and accurate processing of patient information
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with patients, physicians, and staff
  • Assist with front-end revenue cycle duties, including charge entry and insurance verification
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Five years of experience in a related role within healthcare, including three years in a patient services or scheduling role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
