Job Summary

The Project Coordinator plays a fundamental role in leading and overseeing projects from initiation through to successful completion. This position is responsible for driving project excellence by thoroughly coordinating the efforts of project teams, contractors, and vendors to meet and exceed project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and integrate the efforts of engineering teams, architects, designers, contractors, and vendors to achieve optimal project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategic project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Oversee the collaborative efforts among firm disciplines, project management teams, and business development teams.
  • Strategically develop the negotiation process and manage the planning, financial strategies, modifications or adjustments, and invoicing process.
  • Utilize team management skills to lead the design group during the conceptual phase of product development following CPH and client's standards and templates.
  • Lead project teams, providing direction and ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Conducts weekly coordination and reporting with clients and leadership, delivering detailed updates on projects and program performance regarding quality, status, schedule, and budget.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software's platforms.
  • Valid stated-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team.
  • Comfortable working and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent oral, written and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
  • Strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of codes and design and construction practices.
  • Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.
Education and Experience
  • B.S. Civil Engineering and/or construction or other related field to position requirements.
  • At least 5+ years of project management experience engineering/construction field.
Work Environment

This position is in a professional office environment. The person in this role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of the role.

The person in this position may require sitting or standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds.
