Job Summary

The EPM Assistant - Disaster Response Project Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Project Manager in coordinating the disaster response project for Hurricane Ian survivors. The successful candidate will assist with intake and outreach activities, conduct recruitment activities, prepare legal documents, and provide litigation support. The ideal candidate will have a paralegal degree or certification, knowledge of the legal system, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Project Manager in coordinating the disaster response project
• Assist with intake and outreach activities
• Conduct recruitment activities in coordination with the Human Resources department
• Prepare legal documents and provide litigation support
• Assist clients with their legal needs
• Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system

Requirements

• Paralegal degree or certification preferred
• Knowledge of the legal system and commitment to the mission of FRLS
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Case Management System

Working Conditions

This position operates in a professional work environment. The employee will be required to travel throughout Florida as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines.
