Cannon Crewmember

Job Summary

The Army National Guard is seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Cannon Crewmembers. As a member of our artillery team, you will play a critical role in delivering decisive blows to the enemy using howitzers and high-tech cannon artillery weapons systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct wire and radio communications to coordinate artillery operations
• Identify target locations and set up firing positions
• Load and fire artillery, using advanced technology to generate fire direction data
• Operate heavy and light wheeled trucks and tracked vehicles to transport and manage artillery ammunition
• Maintain operational readiness of vehicles and equipment
• Participate in reconnaissance operations to gather intelligence on enemy positions

Requirements

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements
