Property Appraisal Operations Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is integral to the processes surrounding the procurement and delivery of property appraisals and final inspections. The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including liaising with appraisers for order placements, monitoring the return of completed appraisals, and ensuring the final product is delivered to clients.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiate orders with appraisers for property evaluations.
- Verify the engagement of appraisers.
- Monitor the receipt of appraisals and assign them for subsequent review.
- Upload appraisals to relevant investor portals as necessary.
- Distribute copies of sanctioned appraisals to mortgage applicants.
- Request final inspections.
- Confirm the engagement of appraisers or inspectors.
- Track the receipt of final inspections and assign them for further review.
- Collaborate with internal National Subdivision Department (NSD) team members and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of mortgage-related tasks.
- Work alongside internal partners to ensure adequate coverage of workload areas within team functions.

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Related Functional Experience: At least 1 year of prior administrative experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Good organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple activities daily.
- Comprehend and adhere to Appraisal Independence Requirements and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Hybrid work arrangement (2 times per month required in-office).
