Job Overview

APMI, a dedicated company focused on the maintenance requirements of homeowner associations, is seeking to recruit a Facilities Maintenance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, minor electrical work, plumbing, fence and gate repairs, as well as cleaning and maintaining gutters and downspouts.
  • Perform property inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs.
  • Identify problems and implement effective solutions to address building and communal area concerns.
  • Complete daily documentation and maintain communication with the office regarding ongoing tasks.
  • Capture photographic evidence of work completed before and after maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all company tools, equipment, and vehicles are kept clean and in good working order.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in construction or property maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality work.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices and basic software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Employment Type:

  • Full-Time Position

Compensation Package:

  • Starting salary of $52,000, with potential for advancement to a supervisory role offering up to $72,000 for the right candidate.
  • Company vehicle, mobile phone, and tablet may be provided based on negotiation.
