Primary Purpose:

As a Senior Neuro Technologist, you will be responsible for performing the most advanced level of Neurodiagnostic procedures to ensure optimal provision of services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and advanced Neurodiagnostic procedures independently following established department procedures.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge regarding advanced neurophysiology techniques.
  • Respond appropriately in all patient-related situations.
  • Work with physicians on assessing new techniques and recommending changes as indicated.
  • Work with personal computers including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Demonstrate patient-centered/patient-valued behaviors.
Requirements:
  • Must have six years of advanced Neurophysiology experience to include EEG, evoked potentials, sleep, or epilepsy monitoring.
  • Must have graduated from an accredited school of EEG/Neurodiagnostic technology plus four years of experience.
  • Must have a current healthcare provider BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Must be registered by the American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (ABRET) as a registered EEG Technologist (REEGT).
  • Must be registered by ABRET as a Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (REPT), or certified in Neurophysiological Intra-Operative Monitoring (CNIM).
  • Must be registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
