About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IR Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As an IR Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing interventional radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality IR procedures, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Utilize AIDET principles to communicate effectively with patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and medical imaging records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology.
  • 1 year of experience in IR technology, preferably in a busy lab.
  • Neuro and trauma experience preferred.
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification and Medical Radiologic Technologist licensure in the State of Texas.
  • ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI certification within 2 years of hire date.
