Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Dallas, Texas.

About the Role

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will perform interventional radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist. The ideal candidate will have experience in IR procedures, preferably in a busy lab, and be certified in one of the following: ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI), ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI), or ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV).

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Explain procedures to patients and put them at ease.
  • Provide services in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner in compliance with established System and regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain a calm and helpful attitude, even under times of stress, and take appropriate and reasonable steps to resolve issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by limiting wait times, providing courteous service, remaining professional, reviewing patient satisfaction scores, and developing action plans when required.
Requirements
  • Grad of an Accredited Program.
  • 1 year of IR Tech experience, preferably in a busy lab.
  • Neuro and Trauma experience preferred.
  • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R): ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) is required.
  • Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT): Must be licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
  • ARRT-CI Cardiac-Interventional (ARRT-CI), ARRT-CV Cardiovasc-Inter Rad (ARRT-CV), ARRT-VI Interventional Rad (ARRT-VI): Must be certified in one of the following within two (2) years of hire date.
