Job Summary

AB Cemetery Management Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Operations Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our cemetery grounds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grounds Maintenance: Supervise and coordinate the maintenance of cemetery grounds, including lawns, flower beds, and memorial markers.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including backhoes, excavators, tractors, and mowers, to maintain and improve the appearance of the cemetery.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of grounds maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to families and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, inventory, and equipment usage.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to operate a variety of equipment, strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and any required certifications for equipment operation.
Working Conditions

The Landscape Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to inclement weather, loud noises, and physical demands. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
