Job Title: Carrier Compliance Manager

At Movement Search & Delivery, we are seeking a highly skilled Carrier Compliance Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the compliance of our carriers with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:Carrier Onboarding & Compliance:
  • Develop and implement a streamlined carrier onboarding process to meet the needs of each business unit.
  • Utilize RMIS to establish carrier compliance criteria and monitor performance.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for carrier qualification processes.
Carrier Qualification Program Management:
  • Oversee the carrier qualification program, ensuring compliance and maintaining approved carrier status through carrier monitoring services.
  • Conduct reviews of new and existing carriers, generate monthly reports on approved carriers, and manage corrective actions for non-compliant carriers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for reviewing and approving carrier records.
Training & System Support:
  • Develop strategies and create training materials for RMIS system users, providing training and support as needed.
  • Ensure team members are proficient in using the FMCSA SAFER system to assess carriers' safety profiles.
Collaboration & Client Support:
  • Work closely with Procurement and Client Operations teams to prepare for RFIs and meet client-specific carrier requests.
  • Manage client-authorized carrier requests and handle incumbent carrier inquiries.
Compliance & Reporting:
  • Support the Responsible Care program and participate in audits as required.
  • Regularly assess KPIs to ensure objectives are being met and implement corrective actions if performance falls below target.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and governance standards to ensure full compliance.
Third-Party Resource Management:
  • Oversee the training, goal-setting, and development of a third-party resource supporting the Manager of Corporate Carrier Compliance. Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required (Operations Management, Safety Management, or Business Management preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in transportation, logistics, or safety management, including at least 2 years in a logistics safety-related role.
  • Experience working with global, multi-cultural stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of business stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple critical projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360 Suite; experience with RMIS and TMS systems is a plus.
