Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Test Run Specialist to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for supporting all Run Stands throughout Air Cooled. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support all Run Stands throughout Air Cooled, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Schedule technicians to ensure optimal tech availability across all lines, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
  • Perform a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product testing and assembly, adhering to quality specifications.
  • Assemble components as required, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, contributing to departmental housekeeping and overall facility appearance.
  • Embody high personal standards regarding productivity, quality, and safety, setting an example for colleagues.
  • Be prepared to work overtime and weekends as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Develop skills to operate in multiple stations within the department, expanding capabilities and contributing to team growth.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications.
  • Capacity to read blueprints, standard work instructions, bills of material, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Proficiency in operating various shop tools, including power and manually operated wrenches.
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing assembly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Solid mechanical background.
  • Experience with AC, Compressors, oil separators, etc.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and great teamwork.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
