Job Title: Home and Sleep Reviews Editorial Fellow

Business Insider is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Home and Sleep Reviews Editorial Fellow to join our Reviews team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing in-depth reviews, guides, and supplementary stories that help our readers find great products that make their lives better.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and write in-depth reviews of home and sleep products, including pillows, mattresses, and furniture.
  • Assist with guide updates, including checking product inventory, links, SEO, and data recommendations.
  • Coordinate delivery of review samples and log deliveries.
  • Stay on top of new product launches and news relevant to the beat.
  • Be available for major deal events, such as Amazon Prime Day.

Requirements:

  • Experience reporting and writing, with a passion for digital storytelling and service journalism.
  • Time management skills and the ability to work quickly and collaboratively with a fast-paced team.
  • Proofreading and copyediting skills, with familiarity with the Associated Press Stylebook.
  • A working knowledge of SEO, CMS systems, and digital and social media.
  • A love of Business Insider and our mission to serve readers with accurate, fair, fast, and fun information.

  • A passion for home and sleep products, with the ability to test sleep products in your home.
  • The ability to distill expert information in a way that is understandable and meaningful to the average person.
  • An interest in leveraging data to support coverage and decisions.
  • A critical eye, with the ability to take clear and original photos.
