Job Summary:

The Interim Health Services Director will oversee the health services department, ensuring resident care needs are met by conducting assessments, developing care plans, coordinating resident care, managing health services systems, and providing supervision and teaching to health services team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans to meet resident care needs
  • Coordinate resident care and manage health services systems
  • Provide supervision and teaching to health services team members
  • Collaborate with management team to ensure resident-centered approach to care
  • Communicate regularly with residents' families regarding health care needs

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN or RN license, with RN license strongly preferred
  • Experience in geriatric nursing, medication administration, case management, training/staff development, budgets, and team management
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
