Job Summary: As a key member of the Samaritan Health Services team, the Healthcare Operations Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the Commercial Sales team. This role will be responsible for assisting current and prospective members through the sales process, performing diversified coordinating functions, and problem-solving to improve effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and excellent communication skills to work with all levels within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in group enrollment, respond to Employer or Broker inquiries regarding group enrollments, and compile literature/collateral materials, rates, and benefits.
  • Generate reports and statistical information in support of the Commercial, Medicare, and TPA lines of business.
  • Develop and sustain productive relationships with Group administrators and their brokers.
  • Support assigned client relationships by maintaining a professional working relationship and ensuring contract compliance.


Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent directly related experience required.
  • Three (3) years experience in sales/marketing, computer systems, professional customer service, or the health benefits industry required.
  • Active Oregon Health Insurance License required within three (3) months of hire.
