Job Summary

Comfort Systems USA Southeast is seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing service and maintenance tasks on various commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, and boilers.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Complete accurate and detailed electronic documentation of work performed using handheld devices.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet task deadlines and achieve team goals.
  • Participate in additional related duties or special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in servicing, installing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC systems.
  • Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, and boiler systems is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Building Automation System controls (HVAC controls) is a plus.
  • Ability to lead a team of technicians and handle technical inquiries.

Additional Qualifications

  • Adherence to and promotion of company Safety Policy.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Aptitude to work independently with or without supervision.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, drawings, and equipment layout materials.
  • EPA Universal certification required.
  • OSHA 10 certification (provided if necessary).
  • Ability to pass background, drug, and MVR checks.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for projects and services in the region.
