About the Position:

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) Platform group is dedicated to providing technological support for a diverse portfolio of around 600 applications. The supported business lines encompass Corporate Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Audit and Regulatory Reporting, Finance, HR, Public Affairs, and Enterprise Services Management. This role entails overseeing platform and application support across one or more of these business sectors, ensuring high-quality customer service and fostering robust relationships with internal stakeholders. As many functions and teams have recently been consolidated into the Enterprise organization, business and technology transformations are a primary focus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee or engage in the management of all operational systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations domain.
  • Enhance system efficiencies and minimize the need for human intervention in related tasks.
  • Examine and evaluate moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to guarantee optimal levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Collaborate with vendors and technical personnel for effective problem resolution.
  • Guide the team to fulfill technical deliverables while utilizing a solid understanding of technical process controls or standards.
  • Work alongside vendors and technical personnel to address technical challenges and achieve the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 4+ years of experience in application production support.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL.
  • 1+ years of scripting experience using tools such as Unix Shell, Python, Ansible, etc.

  • Experience in supporting an enterprise-level environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, achieve objectives, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as SPLUNK, AppDynamics, Grafana, Azure App Insights, ITRS.
  • Adept at working effectively in a team setting.
  • Experience managing initiatives that involve process improvements.
  • Knowledge of driving Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Experience in supporting cloud-based applications.
  • Familiarity with business resiliency planning and execution.
  • Ability to quickly assess complex technical issues and provide concise, timely updates to executive management.
