The Facility Maintenance Specialist is tasked with the effective and safe management of both the interior and exterior environments of our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that our premises are kept in a tidy and welcoming condition, while also prioritizing the safety of all staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the facility's interior.
- Manage waste disposal effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies in restrooms.
- Ensure break rooms are clean and well-stocked.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and buffers.
- Conduct light repairs within the facility as needed.
- Maintain public areas to a high standard.
- Perform general upkeep of the facility's exterior.
- Manage outdoor waste disposal.
- Conduct grounds maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal.
- Assist in light repairs to the exterior as directed.
- Help maintain adequate inventory levels of cleaning supplies.
- Report any supply needs or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Provide support to other staff members as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Familiarity with basic custodial operations and equipment maintenance is advantageous.
