Key Responsibilities:


The Lead Procurement Consultant will spearhead and oversee procurement consulting initiatives, offering strategic insights to clients aimed at refining their procurement methodologies and supply chain operations.

This position necessitates a profound comprehension of procurement strategies, outstanding project management capabilities, and the capacity to achieve results in a client-centric setting.


Client Engagement:
Direct and manage client interactions, ensuring the provision of top-tier procurement consulting services.


Conduct assessments to identify opportunities for new clients or new addressable areas for existing clients, including budgeting and sourcing strategies that align with overall savings objectives.

Establish and nurture robust client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on procurement and supply chain issues.

Strategic Planning and Execution:
Formulate and execute procurement and category strategies that resonate with clients' business goals.

Perform thorough procurement evaluations and pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency enhancements, and risk management.

Project Management:
Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion within defined scope and budget.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee smooth project delivery.

Team Leadership:
Guide, mentor, and develop a team of procurement consultants, promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Offer direction and support to team members, facilitating their professional advancement and growth.

Market Analysis and Insights:
Remain informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management.

Provide clients with insights and recommendations derived from market analysis and best practices.

Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business prospects, contributing to the expansion of the procurement consulting practice.

Prepare proposals, presentations, and other materials to bolster business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related consulting roles.

Demonstrated experience in leading and managing procurement consulting projects.

Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent project management skills.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Capacity to build and sustain strong client relationships.

Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint) and procurement software such as SAP, Ariba, or other ERP systems.
