Location: New Brunswick, NJ
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation: $44.05/hr - $49.05/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operational, functional, and personnel activities within the supply chain procurement division.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of procurement policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks.
- Conduct internal audits within the department and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with procurement standards and specifications.
- Manage budgetary considerations and resource acquisition for supply chain procurement, ensuring adherence to financial constraints through effective cost management.
- Provide strategic input to procurement objectives and communicate these goals to team members.
- Monitor departmental performance against established objectives.
- Summarize challenges and resolutions for management review and execute necessary actions.
- Analyze market trends and pricing related to supply chain procurement and present findings to management.
- Approve vendor selections and negotiate contracts for procurement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure adherence to service and quality standards.
- Collaborate with various departments to meet procurement needs effectively.
- Continuously enhance procurement processes and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Manage relationships with suppliers and assess their performance based on agreed-upon criteria.
- Oversee the procurement budget and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Experience Requirements:
- Typically requires 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
Educational Qualifications:
