Senior EC2 Engineer Position

Amazon is seeking a Senior EC2 Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale software systems that run across AWS data centers.

You will work closely with the EC2 team to curate the team's roadmap, drive system architecture, and spearhead best practices that enable a quality product. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and develop junior engineers, helping them grow into better-rounded professionals.

To be successful in this position, you will need to have 3+ years of professional software development experience, 2+ years of design or architecture experience, and experience programming with at least one software programming language. A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is also preferred.

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. In addition to your base pay, you may be eligible for equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
