About this Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced AWS EC2 Edge Frontier Software Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure, reliable, scalable, and high-performance on-device software that helps expand the edge compute business.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy software and firmware updates to Snow and Frontier devices.
  • Contribute to cloud-based software to prepare devices for use.
  • Maintain and improve existing frameworks, tools, processes.
Requirements
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • Programming experience with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix.
  • CI/CD pipeline build process experience.

Compensation: $140,000/year (base pay range) + equity and other benefits. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
