AWS Cloud Engineer for Next-Gen VPC

We're seeking an experienced engineer with a passion for systems software engineering and kernel/embedded C programming. Your mission will be to develop ultra-high-performance features for our EC2 customers, processing millions of packets per second on embedded CPU cores. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build secure and scalable services, next-generation hardware/software validation platforms, and robust solutions that enable efficient CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and enhancements for the VPC dataplane that run on embedded systems across our global fleet of EC2 hosts
- Design and build secure and scalable services to enable monitoring, diagnostics, and automated recovery
- Design and build next-generation hardware/software validation platforms that enables efficient CI/CD
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define requirements, design system architectures, and implement robust and scalable solutions
We offer a competitive salary range of $143,100 - $245,000 per year, depending on location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of our total compensation package.
