About the Role:
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a vital part in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in the surgical unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and excellent patient care.
- Participating in ongoing assessments of quality patient care services provided in the unit.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Supporting a patient-first philosophy and engaging in service recovery when necessary.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 90 days of employment start date.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) or equivalent.
