Description

POSITION: Treatment Foster Care Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Treatment Foster Care (St. Louis, MO)

Starting Salary: $44,000 - $49,000 Annually

(Starting salary depends on education and experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Specialist for the Treatment Foster Care Program coordinates TFC cases, including conducting home visits, supporting foster parents, holding treatment review meetings and foster parent support meetings, completing assessments and other paperwork, and providing crisis management as needed.
  • Works as part of a treatment team for the client.
  • This position includes traveling to the clients' home, foster homes, and to other appointments.
  • Will participate in recruitment, training, and licensing of treatment homes.
  • Will be part of the on-call rotation for foster care and community-based cases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field with three years of relevant work experience.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • A positive, unflappable attitude is a must for this position.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
  • This position also requires a valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
