1. Conduct thorough reviews of patient medical records, including allergies, medications, and immunization history.
2. Gather and document comprehensive medical histories from patients.
3. Perform physical examinations to identify symptoms and health issues.
4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging to assess patient conditions.
5. Analyze test results and examinations to diagnose health conditions.
6. Prescribe and administer appropriate treatments and medications based on patient evaluations.
7. Discuss potential side effects of medications and treatments with patients.
8. Administer vaccinations to protect patients from infectious diseases.
9. Provide guidance on health maintenance, including nutrition and disease prevention strategies.
10. Offer prenatal and postnatal care to mothers and infants.
11. Perform surgical procedures within the scope of your expertise.
12. Refer patients to specialists when necessary for advanced care.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Medical School.
- Completed an Internship and Residency or Fellowship in Family Medicine.
- Licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.
