SHIFT:

  • (4) positions: 4pm-12am
  • (1) position: 8am-4pm

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Residential Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents. Your responsibilities will include facilitating therapeutic activities, ensuring medication adherence, and documenting progress in individual treatment plans. The activities you lead will focus on teaching essential life skills, improving social interactions, and providing engaging recreational therapy. To foster participation, it is vital to possess the skills to communicate effectively with individuals facing mental health challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist residents in daily living activities and therapeutic programs.
  • Monitor and document medication intake and treatment progress.
  • Identify and report any behavioral concerns to the treatment team.
  • Encourage social engagement and participation in group activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma with at least one year of experience in mental health or substance abuse settings.
  • Certification in Medication Level 1, First Aid, and CPR.
  • Possession of a Class E Driver's License.
  • CMT Certification is preferred.
