Job Overview

Position Summary: Chimera Enterprises International is in search of a Senior Acquisition Analyst to provide support to the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) Medical Office. This office oversees the nation's investments in defense equipment and medical countermeasures against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. A Secret clearance is required for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and manage a variety of documents including acquisition documentation (Acquisition Decision Memorandum, Acquisition Program Baseline, Simplified Acquisition Master Plan/Acquisition Strategy), memorandums, information papers, executive summaries, and meeting minutes.
  • Prepare documentation in compliance with DoD policies for research, development, testing, evaluation, and procurement of materials to establish program objectives and milestones.
  • Customize DoDI documentation requirements for each program and strategy, ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory and organizational policies.
  • Compile and present regular reports and briefings to support milestone decisions and program reviews.
  • Actively participate in multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), providing expertise in acquisition to meet critical planning and execution needs.
  • Develop comprehensive acquisition strategies and program structures in alignment with JCIDS and PPBE, adhering to DoD 5000 series guidelines.
  • Conduct integrated risk assessments and analyses regarding cost, schedule, and performance of assigned programs, following the DoD Risk Management Guide.
  • Research and apply relevant DoD instructions and regulations related to biological and chemical pharmaceuticals and medical diagnostics.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining document templates for medical acquisition milestones in accordance with Milestone Decision Authority and DoDI requirements.
  • Design, update, and distribute educational materials and training specific to acquisition processes.
  • Support the Acquisition directorate and program managers with additional tasks related to program management and DoD Acquisition.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience applying the DoDI process to the development of medical products and systems is preferred.
  • DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management or equivalent.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in Government program management or executive office, specifically within the Defense Acquisition System.
  • Expert knowledge in integrating JCIDS, PPBE, and DoDI processes.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both orally and in writing.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or 15 years of equivalent work experience.
