Position Overview:
Chimera Enterprises International is on the lookout for a Senior Acquisition Analyst to join our team in support of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) Medical Office. This role is crucial in managing our nation's investments in defense equipment and medical countermeasures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and update a variety of acquisition-related documents, including Acquisition Decision Memorandums and Acquisition Program Baselines.
- Prepare documentation in line with Department of Defense (DoD) policies for research, development, testing, evaluation, and procurement of materials.
- Customize DoDI documentation requirements for various programs and strategies, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.
- Compile and present regular reports and briefings to support milestone decisions and program reviews.
- Actively participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), providing expertise in acquisition to ensure successful program execution.
- Develop acquisition strategies that align with JCIDS and PPBE processes, adhering to DoD 5000 series guidelines.
- Conduct integrated risk assessments concerning cost, schedule, and performance of assigned programs.
- Research and apply relevant DoD Instructions and FDA regulations related to advanced development in biological and chemical pharmaceuticals.
- Assist in creating and maintaining document templates necessary for medical acquisition milestones.
- Develop and deliver educational materials and training focused on acquisition processes.
- Support the Acquisition directorate and program managers with additional duties related to program management and DoD Acquisition.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to apply DoDI processes in the development of medical products and systems.
- DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of fifteen years of experience in government program management, particularly within the Defense Acquisition System.
- Expert knowledge in integrating JCIDS, PPBE, and DoDI processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for diverse audiences.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience of 15 years.
Clearance Level: Secret
