Class B Delivery Driver

Job Summary

The Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for operating a vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions, meeting or exceeding minimum productivity levels established by the Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer relations and problem resolution skills, with the ability to effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
  • Communicate all errors/returns and contact management for authorization when discrepancies are on invoices.
  • Handle any customer complaints professionally and maintain ongoing inter-department communications related to routing, safety, and customer relations.
  • Operate vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions and meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License – Class B (Class A preferred).
  • One-year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Ability to lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds.
