Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients with a wide range of needs. As an APRN in Orthopaedics, you will work independently and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to examine, treat, and educate patients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring proper illness and injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and document patient histories.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, and provide patient education on continuing care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in patient/family interventions, and respond to medical emergencies as necessary.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Valid State of Florida APRN License.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Orthopaedics.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, analyze, and prioritize work under pressure.
