Job Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients with neurology and pediatric disorders. As a key member of the healthcare team, the APRN will work independently and collaboratively with other professionals to provide comprehensive care, including examinations, treatments, and patient education.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history and physical exams, to diagnose and treat various conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging procedures, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to manage their health effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in neurology and pediatrics to provide evidence-based care.
  • Document patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Valid State of Florida APRN License
  • Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in neurology or pediatric settings
