Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at the University of Miami's Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of our oncology service line.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including physical examinations, health histories, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and symptom control.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, including disease management, treatment options, and survivorship care.
- Assist with the management of family dynamics, coping mechanisms, and acute and chronic phases of patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing or higher.
- Florida APRN license or Physician Assistant license.
- Board certification as APRN from nationally accredited organization.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant advanced practice nursing experience.
- Experience in treating hematology/oncology, acute care, or intensive care unit patients preferred.
