Position Overview:
The Office of the Medical Investigator, part of the University of New Mexico, is in search of three full-time forensic pathologists to become integral members of a distinguished team known for its exceptional forensic pathology fellowship program, which has successfully trained numerous forensic pathologists since its inception.

This office serves as a centralized, academically affiliated medicolegal death investigation agency for the state, handling a significant portion of the annual deaths and conducting numerous autopsies and external examinations. The office has maintained NAME accreditation since 1976, with comprehensive death investigation data recorded in an electronic format.

About the Office of the Medical Investigator:
