The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking a full-time faculty member for the Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) Program in the Department of Pathology. The successful candidate will teach courses in Clinical Immunohematology, Clinical Serology, and Clinical Management and Education, as well as other teaching opportunities. The position involves creating and contributing to course curriculum, student advisement, recruitment, and collaboration with affiliated clinical rotation sites. The candidate will also participate on the UNM MLS Advisory Committee to shape community involvement.
Responsibilities:- Teach courses in Clinical Immunohematology, Clinical Serology, and Clinical Management and Education
- Create and contribute to course curriculum
- Student advisement and recruitment
- Collaboration with affiliated clinical rotation sites
- Participation on the UNM MLS Advisory Committee
- Bachelor of Science degree in MLS or related field
- ASCP Certification (or equivalent)
- Three years of clinical laboratory experience in Clinical Immunohematology
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
