About the Role

Bausch + Lomb, a leading global eye health company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our dry eye sales team. As a Specialty Practice Manager - Dry Eye Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to promote our dry eye pharmaceutical products to ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals in a targeted geographic region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Sales Plan: Create and implement a sales plan to achieve sales goals and objectives, utilizing account management selling approaches to pull through dry eye portfolio and supporting initiatives.
  • Build Relationships and Drive Sales: Develop strong relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to effectively communicate product features and benefits, and drive sales.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead in the market.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure account needs are met, and demonstrate strong leadership skills to drive sales and growth.
  • Product Knowledge and Clinical Selling: Develop an understanding of account-specific roles and responsibilities to impact prescribing patterns and availability of therapies for patients, and utilize clinical selling techniques to bring value and influence customer thinking.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience, with a proven track record of success in top 30% of sales force over the last two years.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated ability of strong collaboration and leadership within a team, knowledge of ophthalmology, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively present complex clinical information to healthcare professionals.
  • Travel and Work Environment: Valid driver's license to travel to customer locations within assigned territory, with some overnight travel required.
