Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Provide leadership and guidance to advanced practice providers, including clinical and administrative support
- Collaborate with faculty physicians and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational goals
- Manage complex workflows and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Minimum three (3) years of progressive responsibility in healthcare leadership
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise a team and manage complex workflows
- In-depth knowledge of patient care clinical standards, systems, external regulations, and internal policies
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving with all levels of management and staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to train and mentor subordinates
- Doctorate prepared
- Advanced experience in clinical specialty supervising APPs
- Strong knowledge of human resources management policies
- Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively supervise clinicians and manage complex workflows
- Current California license in good standing by specialty within 90 days of hire
- Master's Degree required in a healthcare-related field from an accredited program
- Possess National Provider Identification (NPI)
- Furnishing license as required by specialty
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license in the state of California within 90 days of hire
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification
- National board certification in area of clinical practice upon hire
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification
