Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare complete and accurate financial statements, including tax returns, for clients.
  • Client Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures regarding information handling.
  • Client Service: Attend to the needs of clients to inspire them to refer our services and return the following year.
  • Bookkeeping and Payroll Services: Perform bookkeeping tasks, including monthly, quarterly, or annual tasks, and prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax reports.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a tax preparer in a CPA firm, with expertise in business and personal federal and state tax.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, impeccable mathematics skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Language: English mandatory, French a plus.

We are a reputable CPA firm with over 30 years of experience in assisting small and medium-sized companies. Our services include general bookkeeping, income tax preparation, financial statement preparation, and payroll services. We are growing and seeking to expand our staff with additional full-time tax preparers.
